§ 01 / asked

Frequently asked.

q01 When will the schedule be announced? +
The first speaker batch is live. More names arrive every week across three batches, and the timed schedule lands closer to the event. Subscribe to the newsletter to get each new batch first.
q02 How were talks selected? +
A CFP committee reviewed every submission, then ran a final curation pass for lineup balance. Weighted on engineering depth, originality, and whether the speaker had shipped what they were describing.
q03 Will talks be in Turkish or English? +
Both, in close to an even split across the accepted talks. Every talk is labelled with its language. Workshops are mostly English.
q04 Will talks be recorded? +
Yes. Recordings go up on YouTube after the event. Speakers can opt their talk out, in which case it stays attendees-only.
q05 Where is it, exactly? +
Bağlarbaşı Kongre ve Kültür Merkezi, Selami Ali Mah., Gazi Cad. No:22, Üsküdar, İstanbul, on 17 October 2026. The nearest metro is Bağlarbaşı on the M5, two stops in from Üsküdar. Full address, directions, and access notes are on the venue page.
q06 Can we buy tickets via quote/invoice instead of credit card? +
Absolutely yes. Drop us an email at [email protected] with the number of seats and your billing details, and we'll sort out a quote and invoice.
q07 Refunds and transfers? +
ed.01 sold out, so on this one we would rather have your seat than your money. If you cannot make it, use the personal link in your ticket email to release it: we refund you in full, no questions asked, and someone on the waitlist gets into the room. Outside that we do not refund on request. The price is deliberately set low to keep LatentShift accessible, and every ticket sale is booked into venue, AV, and food costs as soon as it lands. Tickets are fully transferable either way. Email us the new attendee name and we'll reissue the ticket. If the price is still a barrier and you're a student, reach out to [email protected] from your university email address.
q08 Can my company sponsor? +
Yes. Five tiers from community to title. Request the deck at [email protected] or read the sponsor page.
q09 What's the Code of Conduct? +
We follow the Berlin CoC. Reports go to a 3-person committee and are kept anonymized. Full text on the Code of Conduct page.
q10 How do I reach the organizers? +
General: [email protected] · Sponsorship: [email protected]
STILL CURIOUS?
Write to [email protected]. Every email gets read, and the useful ones land back here.
